**Must Have Skills**

1. Expert-level knowledge of API Mashery platform and API management concepts

2. Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture

3. Proficiency in API security protocols, OAuth, and API key management

4. Advanced experience with API gateway technologies and traffic management

5. Expertise in API documentation tools and practices (e.g., Swagger, OpenAPI)

6. Solid understanding of API analytics and monitoring tools

7. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) for API customization

8. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for API deployment

9. Strong knowledge of API testing methodologies and tools

10. Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Lead the design, implementation, and management of API strategies using Mashery

2. Oversee the development and maintenance of API products and services

3. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand API requirements and translate them into technical solutions

4. Manage and prioritize API-related backlog items, coordinating with both onsite and offshore team members

5. Conduct and lead technical discussions focusing on API architecture, design, and development strategies

6. Mentor and lead a team of API developers, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality deliverables

7. Implement and maintain API governance policies and best practices

8. Oversee API performance monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting

9. Ensure API security and compliance with industry standards and regulations

10. Stay updated with the latest trends in API management and recommend improvements to existing systems

11. Provide technical guidance and support for API-related production issues, including 24/7 support when required
