Champ Code Academy is an EdTech platform headquartered in Singapore, providing online coding classes for kids aged 7 and above in the region. With a progressive and structured Lesson Plan designed for children with no experience, we aim to induct them into the enchanting world of coding by significantly flattening the learning curve.

About the role

Looking for a side hustle or an extra source of income with flexible working hours and a work-from-home setup?

Come join us as a Part-Time Coding Tutor (starting immediately) Have no related experience and never coded before? Don't worry, we'll equip you with a 1x2hr training zoom session.

Champ Code Academy, an online-coding learning platform for young learners, is looking for an energetic, passionate, and lively Coding Tutor like you to engage the virtual learning interaction of one coach to one student or one to multiple students in a virtual small-scale classroom
- Teaching of the Beginner Class curriculum (100% online via Zoom)
- Assist the Head of Curriculum in fine-tuning teaching methodology
- Self-development in learning Advanced Class curriculum
- Collecting and relaying feedback from students and parents to the leadership team

Job Requirements
- Currently studying at a reputable university pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (fresh graduate is welcome as well)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Keen interest in computer science and programming languages
- Prior experience in coding or teaching is not required but a plus
- Attend 1x 2hr training session online via Zoom
- Prepare before each class using the self-study materials provided
- Able to commit to a minimum of 5 hours of tutoring (5x 1hr lesson) per week
- Able to commit at least 6 months from the date of joining

Remuneration: S$20/hr
