Our client is a liner data analytics subscription company that belongs to a large ship broking house. The position is for a Shipping Analyst role in Singapore to perform the following duties:

- Following developments and news that concern the liner global service network, particularly the main east - west trade routes.
- Following vessel deployments, route changes, port changes and keep ahead of changes in global container ship trading patterns.
- Turning your research into relevant news content.
- Helping our clients understand the industry by addressing their questions and data needs.
- Feeding your findings back to our data teams and your colleague researchers.
- Providing business presentations for clients, for trade shows, for media, and conferences.

**Requirements**:

- At least 1 year experience in maritime data analystics
- To have natural interest in shipping and a good understanding of the maritime industry.
- Good analytical skills, natural curiosity, and a ‘research’ mindset.
- An excellent command of the English language in written and spoken form (additional languages are a bonus).
- Willingness to make Hamburg or Singapore your home for the next years.
- Good command of Microsoft Office software: Word / Excel / Powerpoint
