Singapore ST FRANCIS METHODIST SCHOOL LTD. Full time

You will report to the Finance Manager and your duties will include:

- Perform the full spectrum of accounting functions
- Assist in the management reports, annual budget, forecasts, and cash flow management
- Assist in the preparation on monthly schedules and year-end financial reporting
- Assist in audit schedules and the annual audit process
- Check and prepare investment schedules of investment banks
- Prepare journal vouchers
- Responsible for the maintenance of fixed assets register/FA count
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly students enrolment numbers reconciliation
- Update department account forms monthly
- Prepare GST returns and submissions
- Prepare reimbursement of petty cash to students and staff weekly
- Prepare proforma Invoices for existing students during year end and on ad-hoc basis
- Responsible for computations of student transfer of courses
- Assist in maintaining, reviewing, and implementing financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Work closely with other various departments
- Maintain and update the accounting system, XERO
- Assist in product review consolidation of information

EduTrust and FPS Protection Scheme
- Prepare FPS Templates for monthly and quarterly declarations
- Attend to CPE enquiries as and when enquired
- Provide information of student details for CPE in report

Others
- Assist with other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Finance Manager
- Oversee AP & AR functions and provide guidance to the team where required

**Job Requirements**
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the education industry
- Possess experience with accounting systems, eg XERO
- Familiar with various accounting policies and procedures
- Meticulous and well organized
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good team player
