**Job Description**:
**The role**

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Business Partner to join our Group IT team based in Singapore. Working as a trusted advisor, the Senior IT Business Partner is responsible for leading operational and strategic interactions with the Group Corporate Functions aligning IT resources and facilitating delivery of technology services and solutions as necessary to support achievement of financial business outcomes. The role will define IT plans and budgets, underpinned by an investment profile agreed with finance that is affordable and consistent with group operational and strategic targets.

As the Senior IT Business Partner, you will:

- Act as the point of contact and lead for IT and the Group Corporate Functions department fostering effective working relationships with senior business stakeholders
- Proactively contributes to the future direction of business processes, technology strategy and investments in technology across the Group Corporate Functions (HR, Finance, Legal and Enterprise Services).
- Ensure effective utilisation of existing technology platforms to improve the performance of the Corporate Platforms. Maintain an understanding of innovative technology developments relevant to the Group Corporate Functions; seek opportunities to drive experimentation to identify competitive advantage or improved productivity and efficiency
- Drive operational excellence across project and service delivery to meet business goals. Work with key business and IT stakeholders to maximise business value and return on investment arising from the delivery of IT solutions.
- Establish, manage and support a diverse high performing cross functional team. Actively promote and leverage the IT Centres of Excellence to the Group Corporate Functions department
- Support the program of IT Projects throughout their lifecycle, intervening as necessary, to ensure the target business objectives and benefits are achieved. Continuously explore opportunities to improve on IT service delivery, cost reduction and improved business outcome
- Understanding of processes and applicable technology in the following areas:

- Planning and management accounting
- Revenue accounting
- General accounting & reporting
- Fixed asset project accounting
- Payroll
- Accounts payable & expense reimbursement
- Treasury & Operations
- Internal controls
- Taxes
- International funds/consolidation

**Qualifications**:
**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of relevant global experience including at least 6-8 years’ experience in business partnering / business facing IT role
- Experience in managing projects, programs, PMO/ planning/ portfolio management in a complex IT environment.
- Demonstrable Experience in Corporate back-office systems such as ERP, HRIS and Safety solutions. Strong technologist with experience in implementing ERPs, process improvement, automation.
- Be able to architecturally outline how we evolve our systems to support where Finance and HR want to go and how we can simplify and consolidate (eg. Workday and SAP vs single ERP).
- Be able to sit at the table with senior leaders driving transformation in the Finance and HR functions.
- Experience in building a high performing team. Resilient to change and leading teams through a changing environment
- Experience in large global organisations using in-sourced and out-sourced IT service providers
