The **_Test Development Engineer_** is responsible for_ introducing new test equipment, and to improve/sustain quality, cost and productivity performance of existing products._

This position reports to the _Applied Engineering Manager_ and is part of the _Applied Engineering team _located in _Singapore _and will be an on-site role.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Support in development & maintenance of Functional Circuit Tester (FCT) for PCBA and electronics subsystem: To sustain MAS equipment and improve the algorithm.
- Analyze schematics diagram and design simple electronics circuitry for test fixture: To perform V&V for new changes in existing products.
- Work closely with project team for new product testing, development and prototype production: To support industrial 4.0 implementation activities.
- Identify and drive cost reduction and continuous improvement projects.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Educational Background: Masters or good Bachelor degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent
- With at least 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industries
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in C/C++, C#WPF, and LabVIEW programming; knowledge in LabVIEW and Python programming.
- Circuitry and PCB Design: Understanding in circuitry design and basic knowledge in PADS PCB.

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Analytical and Problem-Solving Tools: Knowledge in analytical and problem-solving tools, e.g., DOE, GRR, PSP.
- Product Design and Project Management: Understanding in product design specification and requirements; project management skills.
