We are seeking for warehouse assistant

Primary Objective(s) of the above-position
- Assist daily warehouse activities such as receiving, picking, packing, sorting, stuffing, un stuffing, loading & un-loading. Cleaning the warehouse area and goods storage at warehouse

Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain warehouse in orderly manner by updating stock and cargo inventory in the warehouse. (Receiving/delivery/transfer of stocks)
- To perform daily stock checking when necessary, ensure all stocks are arranged and delivered based on FIFO system
- To prepare raw materials for production.
- To handle incoming and outgoing cargo. (Unloading of cartons from container/truck using pallet jack)
- To generate Goods Receive Note and ensure all materials in warehouse are properly labelled with identification.
- To perform daily maintenance and equipment plus cleanliness of warehouse, cold room and rack storage. (such as material handling equipment such as forklift)
- To assist in delivery when required.
- To ensure that all cargoes under your care are free from damage, loss and pilferage. (Reporting damaged or missing inventory to supervisor)
- Maintaining discipline that no vendors will be allowed in unauthorized areas. Any other tasks as and when assigned by the superior

Skills & Experiences
- Possess valid Forklift License with experience
- Prepared to work overtime when required
- PC literacy would be an advantage
- Physically fit
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and organize work systematically
