**Key Responsibilities**
- Work with the team of toolmakers in achieving the goals & objectives.
- Provide technical tooling support to the T&D and production line to achieve technical & quality requirements.
- Technical support to tool designing and sales in meeting customers’ requirements.
- Support tooling supervisor to ensure tool readiness to support production.
- Liaise with production and planner to set priority schedule based on tooling status.
- Liaise with the Design department on tool improvement for greater output and efficiency.
- Lead the tooling team in problem-solving, identification of problems & analysis of root causes.
- Lead/support continuous improvements in tool/work processes.
- Work closely with the toolroom on machining needs for tooling modification and improvement program.
- Assist in managing the overall tooling group to ensure efficient allocation of resources and meet the department's needs.
- Train, guide and counsel toolmakers.
- Act on behalf of the Principal Engineer in his absence.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the superior and/or management.

- Technical qualification in Tool & Die making.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent in Tool Servicing, Tool Assembly, Tool Trouble Shooting skills and Dimension inspection in the metal stamping industry.
