[What the role is]

MANAGER, DRIVER DEVELOPMENT

[What you will be working on]

You will be in the team that oversees the development and management of taxi, private hire cars, public and private hire bus drivers.

You will play a vital role in developing new Vocational Licence (VL) policy measures and, managing VL training and testing operations. You will also oversee the routine audits on the appointed providers. Working in a dynamic environment, you will collaborate with training and testing providers, Government agencies, associations, and Street-Hail and Ride-Hail operators to routinely review and update LTA’s VL training curriculum and test bank.

As a supervisor, you will be required to develop competency of your officers as well as to plan and execute contingency plans to ensure operational continuity.

[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary qualifications in any discipline
- At least 5 years of working experience, preferably in training development and operations
- Knowledge or experience in leading teams and strategic thinking will be an advantage
- Highly adaptable team player who is able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic and fast environment
- Self-motivated, astute, meticulous and resourceful to produce innovative solutions to address a range of policy and operational matters
- Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
