Jiakies is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the chefs in preparing and cooking our delicious yakiniku, mookata, and hotpot dishes. You will work closely with the chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure that food is prepared and cooked to our high standards, and that our customers receive excellent service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in preparing dishes
- Ensure that food is prepared and cooked according to Jiakies' recipes and standards
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized, including washing dishes and utensils
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of food and kitchen supplies
- Help with inventory management and food ordering
- Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures
- Be flexible and able to help out with various kitchen tasks as needed
- Assist in social media content by taking photos and videos of the dishes and the kitchen
- Perform basic housekeeping duties, including sweeping and mopping the floor, cleaning equipment and surfaces, and taking out the trash
- Handle cash register duties and customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their experience
- Assist in stall operations and opening/closing duties
- Able to do simple food preparation tasks such as cutting and marinating meat and vegetables

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience working in a kitchen is preferred, but not required
- Must hold a valid Food Hygiene Certificate
- Proficient in English and a second language
- Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction from the chefs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experienced in F&B Industry, preferably in a similar role
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work flexible hours and multitask in a fast-paced environment
