**Get to know the role**

As a Senior Design Manager at GFG, you will manage designers working in a highly collaborative fashion across several problem spaces as they explore the needs of our users and create impactful solutions for them. We’re looking for great design managers, who can coach and mentor a growing team, who can think strategically and act decisively, and who can help the team positively impact how millions of people across Southeast Asia interact with Grab.

**The day-to-day activities**
- Manage designers working in several problem spaces from Payments, Loyalty, Security, Lending, Insurance to Investment.
- Coach and mentor designers in solving complex and novel problems in simple and impactful ways.
- Ensure design quality and superior user experience.
- Drive and improve cross-functional collaboration at all levels.
- Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Analytics, Research, Marketing, and senior leadership to deliver impact.
- Articulate complex thinking in a clear, convincing and concise manner.
- Develop and implement effective design processes.

**The must-haves**
- 8+ years experience in Product Design.
- 4+ years experience managing high performing design teams.
- An online portfolio or case studies demonstrating user-centered design and leadership.
- Great core product design skills: visual design, prototyping, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Excellent understanding of user experience design for the web and mobile.
- Experience working on cross-functional product teams.
- Experience with Figma, Sketch, Protopie and other design tooling.
- Strong knowledge of mobile and front-end web standards and development.

**The nice-to-haves**
- Experience in Service Design, User Research, UX Strategy, or Design Operations are all a plus.
