Degree in a Technical Field (Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering) and 5+ year’s relevant experience
**Job Description**:
Essential Job Functions:
gathering, compiling, processing, and portraying quality data that helps ensure part/process quality are achieved and
sustained. This role is a vital component of a large global team that collectively provides a full spectrum of Quality
Services to a major Aero-engine/Aerospace OEM.
interacting w/ computer systems/software, an aptitude for process-based work, and successful doing so in a customerfacing,
service-oriented, and collaborative environment. QEs may execute support level work in any/all of the following
Quality functions in OEM capacities:

- Part & Process Qualification
- Non-Conforming Material
- Blueprint/Drawing Interpretation
- Quality Management System and Process Compliance
- Process Development / Continuous Improvement
Secondary Job Functions:

- Support QuEST Project Leaders/Managers in their management of your daily work
- Generate bright cost-saving / quality-improving ideas
- Continuously improve our business and services
- Learn and develop your skills. This role precedes the role of QE.
Specialized Knowledge / Skills:
Quality:

- Processing non-conforming parts - preferably in an e-MRP system (SAP/Solumina)
- Data mining and the generation of Performance/Metric/Trend charts and reports
- Measurement and Visual Inspection experience. Use of SPC charts.
- Supporting part/process qualification (quality requirements, PPAP, FAI)
Manufacturing:

- Ability to read/interpret drawings information. General understanding of GD&T
- Familiar with modern high-tech manufacturing processes
- Supporting generation of Process Flow/Control Plans, PFMEA, Work Instructions, Capability studies, Capacity
evaluations, Production Readiness Reviews within Quality Dept.
General:

- Familiarity with Aero-Engine components and assemblies
- Interacting w/Engineers
- Expertise in using MS Office suite tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Generating Reports/Metrics, etc.)
- SAP/Excel/VBA Scripting/Automation will be desirable.

- Office and Shop Floor Environments - including the lifting, moving, and tear down of parts

- Can include substantial amounts of computer work
- Heavily Regulated Industry with strict adherence to procedures
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late, arriving early, OT
- Ability to use personal transportation (work, customer, other)
