**About the role**

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for those who already have initial experience to help design and build cutting edge, greenfield solutions to some genuinely interesting business problems.

You will be working with other developers and mainly focus on developing clean, reusable components in HTML/CSS, Web Components and ReactJS and further help other developers in creating and building features. You will also be building the reusable Web UI components that will be used across multiple projects

The quality of your frontend experience is far more important to us than the technologies you have used in the past; we recognise that smart people can learn a new language or pick up a new technology relatively quickly although an initial level of experience in HTML5, CSS3, ES6, React, Web components and various UI layouts are required for this.

**Skills and Experience**
- Strong proficiency in **JavaScript**, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model.
- Advanced knowledge of **TypeScript + React** or similar.
- **Front-end Frameworks** (e.g. SASS, BEM and Bootstrap) **Tailwind CSS **is a plus
- **Testing Framework/Library** (e.g. Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
- **Styled Components** is a must.
- Babel, Webpack, Rollup, or other **JavaScript building tools.**:

- Familiar with RESTful APIs.
- Ability to test, debug and monitor your own code.
- Working within a cross-functional team in an agile environment.
- 5+ years relevant tech skills and experience.
- Relevant industry experience in Fintech or payments is a plus.

**We’d like you to also have worked with the following principles and approaches**
- Building systems that are highly available and can scale.
- Writing clean, SOLID, maintainable code.
- Practising TDD / BDD.
- Writing clear, concise documentation.
- Working with product owners and domain experts to understand requirements.
- Strong communication skills.
