Risk and Governance Executive

**Job Description**:
- Provide 2nd line governance oversight and management of operational, counterparty, environmental, market, regulatory and other risks, in relation to the business within the Group.
In collaboration with stakeholders, map out and maintain front to back end-to-end process flow.
Develop and maintain risk management and control framework.
Proactively identify, assess and manage risk within defined risk appetite.
Perform independent assessment of root cause and mitigating actions for errors/risk events, as well as subsequent escalation and reporting.
Carry out deep-dive risk assessments into all new trade structures or business initiatives and work with stakeholders to put in place mitigating measures to advance the business.
Drive risk awareness and provide feedback or guidance to stakeholders.
Establish and run key risk indicators for relevant stakeholders.
Overall assessment of any systemic risk concerns to the business.
Job Requirements
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the financial services industry or a physical commodity trading firm;
Process-oriented, with end-to-end understanding of structured or physical trade life cycle as an added bonus;
Familiar with the risk management process and development of control frameworks;
Able to work in high pressure environment;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to handle a variety of personalities and present to varying levels of management;
Team player but able to work independently;
Analytical, meticulous, mature with a positive work attitude;
Comfortable and fluent in English and Mandarin.
