Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

The Trust & Safety Policy team develops and reviews our community policies to promote a positive and safe environment for all of our Users and Content Creators to enjoy and express themselves.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Analyze and assess content policy related data and issues around specific topics
2. Work with internal policy, risk, and other Trust & Safety teams to collate information on key policy trends and developments
3. Conduct research on key issue areas within our Community Guidelines to help inform our policy development work
4. Produce internal reports which help drive company thinking behind content policy decision making globally
What should I bring with me?
1. Undergraduate students with strong research, writing and analytical skills.
2. Outstanding organizational, research, and communication skills, with a strong willingness to learn;
3. Interest to understand concepts and issues of user safety on social media, with a particular passion in any area relevant to TikTok's Community Guidelines;
4. Ability to commit to a full time internship based in Singapore for at least 10 weeks.
5. English proficiency is required. In addition, proficiency in another language would be an advantage as this person might be involved in projects relating to reviewing global content and may be required to read and digest information in other languages.
