**Senior Engineer, Engineering Services**

**Main Objective**:

- Design, development and testing
- He / She will be trained on connection products and testing for 3-6 months in the USA within the first year of employment.
- He / She will develop deep understanding in connection test protocols, including API 5C5, ISO 13679, ISO 13685.
- He / She will identify the testing needs in APAC and engage customers to specify testing procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review technical specifications from customers.
- Engage customers on technical qualification and identify product development and testing needs of strategic importance.
- Track and analyse the market trend in testing.
- Prepare product development and testing proposal.
- Develop test procedures, monitor test progress and write reports
- Perform FEA and evaluate structural and sealing performance of products.
- Make technical presentation
- Actively participate and involve in appropriate development of HSE matters in areas of hazard / incident identifications, risk assessments and determination of controls
- Ensure work activities and behavior achieved conformity to the HSE policy, objectives and procedures outlined in the HSE management system and compliance to applicable local legal requirements
- In addition to these duties/responsibilities employee is required to carry out all additional duties as & when directed & required by QHSE manager

**Person Specification
**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Understanding oil & gas drilling and completion is an advantage.
- Strong technical skills in mechanical or structural design and structural testing.
- Strong technical skills in Finite Element Analysis for structural and contact analysis.
- Knowledge in low alloy steels and corrosion resistant alloys and the related specifications (e.g. ASTM, API, NACE).
- Demonstrated ability to learn new skills.
- Experienced in engaging customers.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or other engineering field

**Experience**:

- At least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the upstream Oil and Gas industry.
