Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an Assistant Vice President (AVP) for our Singapore location to service clients for our Real Assets division of our Alterative Investment Solutions Group. They will partner with both clients and colleagues to establish the workflow and client deadlines while supervising staff members. They will be responsible for delivering reporting and day-to-day accounting and support for our clients. The primary client account for this role is a leading global fund manager with a growing pan-Asian real estate platform with USD 5 billion of assets in Asia. This role is also expected to support other clients. What You Will Be Responsible For

As Fund Accounting & Administration (Real Estate Funds), AVP, you will be responsible for:
Client Engagement- Strengthen client relationships. Take ownership of client communication and prompt follow up of service requests- Manage client expectations and ensure the timeliness and accuracy of client deliverables in accordance with agreed service standards- Coordinate with clients’ internal stakeholders and other service providers including auditors, corporate secretary, law firms, banks and property accountants to ensure smooth service delivery.-
- Advise clients on relevant accounting and reporting matters

Service Delivery- Adhere to State Street Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS) internal control procedures- Ensure monthly and quarterly client deliverables meet or exceed clients’ expectation:
- Prepare/review management accounts, financial statements and other deliverables including NAV calculations, capital call & distribution notices, fee calculation and investor requests-
- Respond to ad hoc client requests and queries promptlyManagement- Manage staff to successful and timely completion of client deliverables.- Coordinate effectively with colleagues in other teams on client matters- Provide technical guidance and develop staff- Initiate and manage ongoing process improvement- Oversee the risk management and performance of accounting processes and services.- Manage coordination with other global locations on corporate initiatives and deliverables

Other Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage special client and corporate projects- Internal reporting

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role- 10 years relevant experience in treasury or accounting with pan-Asian group investment structures covering multiple countries and currencies. Fund operations and client services experience would be viewed favorably- Industry experience in real estate or infrastructure development or management is preferred- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be fluent in English- Flexible, strong initiative and problem solving skills to handle a variety of different transactions and structures- Strong organization and project management skills to be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment- Comfortable working with various inhouse and client systems in an automated environment- Advanced MS Excel capabilities- Team player with a proactive and positive approach to work- High integrity with attention to detail
