Manager/senior Manager

**What the role is**
- The Smart Nation and Digital Government Office (SNDGO), under the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) plans and prioritizes key Smart Nation and digital government projects, raises the standards of Government ICT, Future Workplace (FWP) programmes, builds long-term capabilities for the public sector, and promotes adoption and participation in digital and smart innovations. It takes a whole-of-nation effort, and we will actively engage the public, the industry and fellow agencies as we build a Smart Nation together.

Recent macro events have had significant impact in how and where we work, and there are opportunities to empower public officers to be productive, collaborative and engaged. Through adopting a service journey approach, you will be part of the WOG FWP team that will be responsible for defining new concept opportunities based on insights from engagements with public officers, driving and testing the POCs, and building the business case for execution of concepts to transform the future workplace for the Singapore Government.
This could include conducting market analysis, service journeys, technology and trend analysis to define opportunities and build business cases, driving the solution roadmap working in collaboration with the multiple policy and product teams, leading cross-functional teams for implementation of solutions.
You should be a detailed planner, excellent communicator and top-notch analyst. You will seek out, develop and help implement strategic initiatives that drive Whole-of-Government digitalisation. Acting as facilitator and mediator, you will work with project teams in GovTech and key stakeholders within SNDGO and other government agencies to usher key initiatives through their lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks, developing operational policies and facilitating communication with all stakeholders.

**What you will be working on**
- In this role, you will be expected to:
a) Partner with internal and external stakeholder teams to develop and shape policies, strategies, implementation plans and KPIs for key initiatives and track timelines of multiple initiatives
b) Drive discussions with internal/external stakeholder teams to achieve PGD’s and SNDGO’s vision
c) Create and implement comprehensive management plans for projects, with attention to transparent communication at all levels
d) Evaluate, analyse and communicate project progress on a continuing basis, and respond to queries and concerns from top management with supporting research and recommendations
e) Review and challenge FWP solutions design, efforts and costs estimates
f) Engage with multiple teams on various initiatives and foster a collaborative working environment

Experience that will be helpful, but not required:

- At least 2 years of working experience, preferably in the technology sector
- Experience in public policy and governance
- Experience in business analysis/development/product management

Knowledge in the technical area(s) is advantageous:

- Application development and deployment
- Change Management
- Agile Project Management/ Design Thinking

You should be:

- Inquisitive in nature and passionate about technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage a wide spectrum of external and internal stakeholders; including multi-agency and inter-departmental teams
