Civil and Structural Design Engineer

**Requirements**:
1) Recognised Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering, recognized by the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore.

2) Minimum 2-5 years of design experience in a consulting Environment

3) Strong engineering analysis and design skills and knowledge.

4) Competent in common engineering design software and analytical tools.

5) Knowledge of BIM and drafting for general Civil & Structural drawing is an added advantage.

6) Strong in structural and geotechnical principals and good knowledge of EURO codes.

7) Competent in conventional concrete and structural steel works design.

8) Good planning, organizational, writing and communication skills.

**Job Description**:
1) Assist and support Team Leader in the execution of projects as part of the project team.

2) Provide technical support in various stages of project, including conceptual design, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, contract administration, site meetings, etc.

3) Participate in BIM coordination with the assistant of the BIM team.

4) Prepare schematic design, layout, calculations, technical reports and specifications, etc.

5) Conduct feasibility study, engineering assessment and prepare technical report. Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and suppliers to resolve project issues.

6) Carry out site inspections and technical reviews, when necessary.

7) Design management and participation in the successful delivery of projects.

8) Attend meetings, reporting and design matters.

9) Liaise with fellow Engineers and/or Consultant team.
