ING in Asia Pacific

Singapore is the regional headquarters for ING's Wholesale Banking (WB) business in Asia, which includes all WB business lines such as Financial Markets, Strategic Products, Sectors, Lending and Transaction Services and other support functions.

What does the FX Trading Team do in ING?

FX Trading is part of the part of the Financial Markets division in ING. The Singapore desk provides pricing and liquidity in FX and FX derivatives to the broad spectrum of ING clients globally.

What would you be doing?
- Assisting with BAU tasks such as order watching, deals input and cash management.
- Working closely with our traders to support desk trades and efx trading systems.
- Working on projects utilising data for market analysis and building models.

What qualities, skills and other criteria are we looking for?

We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria:

- You should have legal work rights in the country of internship.
- Self driven and independent learner, with an interest in financial markets
- Basic understanding of FX and FX derivatives
- Programming skills will be a plus

What would you gain from this internship?

An in depth understanding of market making and risk management of FX products, and an appreciation of how financial markets function.
