**Senior Supply Chain Engineer**
Location: Hyderabad, IN

As Senior Supply Chain Engineer, you will be supporting planning and execution systems powering Micron’s multi-billion-dollar semiconductor supply chain. This is a mid-level position in our team, which is tasked with leveraging technology, advanced modeling, and process innovations to improve Micron’s end-to-end supply chain. You have a very good understanding of operations research modeling, supply chain, and the ability to adapt both to Micron unique needs. You possess the skills needed to socialize these solutions with the supply chain. You are both action and result oriented.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Highlight and drive resolution to issues in Planning. Gaps between strategy, manufacturing capability, and market demand
- Track and analyze business performance against targets, conduct root cause analysis to find opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with Supply Chain partners to implement solutions
- Build, study, and summarize impacts of various what-if scenarios
- Build an understanding of the interaction of Supply Chain technology solutions and partner with Supply Chain and IT to drive improvements
- Identify process gaps/improvement opportunities, and collaborate with key stakeholders to implement robust processes
- Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional forums, meetings, and activities that drive engagement and alignment across the organization.
- Communicate business metrics and project status with Global Operations leadership
- Analyze demand and supply trends, summarize risks and opportunities to sales, marketing and supply chain teams
- Leverage big data to build large-scale optimization models
- Develop and delivery training for the Global Supply Chain organization
**Education Requirements**
- Graduate level degree in Operations Research, Industrial /Production Engineering/Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Under-graduate degree in similar fields with passion for Supply Chain Management
**Professional Experience Required**
- 5+ years of related IT or Supply Chain or Planning experience
- 5+ years supply planning systems experience in Blue Yonder/Jda **Order Promiser **and **Enterprise Supply Planning ( ESP )**:
- Experience in implementing any new medium or large-scale enterprise wide supply chain solution
**Professional Experience Preferred**
- Working familiarity with several supply chain tools in supply planning, demand planning, and sales and operations planning
- Understanding of Supply Chain Master Data Management principles and practices
- Experience with planning in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Very good technical understanding of planning solutions from Blue Yonder/Jda, or Kinaxis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of the Supply Chain planning and modeling principles
- Ability to quickly access data, perform detailed analysis, and summarize insights for leadership (SQL preferred)
- Familiarity with Industrial Engineering concepts (queueing theory, lean, theory of constraints, Little’s Law, optimization, etc.)
- Critical thinking skills
- Highly self-motivated and outcome oriented
- Supply chain acumen with strong industrial engineering foundation
