As our Accountant, you are responsible for accounting and finance. Your responsibilities include preparation and reviewing of financial statements, accounting reports, governmental schedules, and annual statutory accounts.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Responsible for timely, accurate preparation of all accounting reports and for the preparation of governmental schedules and tax reports for various governmental agencies.
- Review and analyse monthly financial results and prepare commentaries on Hmlet entities performance.
- Manage the preparation of annual statutory accounts to ensure compliance with the local accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like bankers, external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
- Identifies and follows up on areas of concern within the reconciliation, develops corrective action plans where needed and ensures accounts are in good standing, including inter-company transactions

**The skills, attitude and experience we require are**:

- Diploma in Accountancy or Finance/ACCA
- 2-3 years of related experience in accounting, tax and statutory compliance
- Some knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and GST Law
- Knowledge of FRS 116 Leases will be a PLUS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially EXCEL and hands-on experience with Xero Account is a PLUS
- A self-starter with good time management and take initiative to meet deadlines independently
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels
