**About the role**:
Mazars in India is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our dynamic team as a Manager / SM in the Transport & Logistics Consulting practice. **Responsibilities**:
Lead and manage consulting engagements in the transport and logistics sector, including but not limited to supply chain optimization, logistics strategy development, network design, transportation planning, and operational excellence.
A doer who can roll up her/his sleeves to get the quality job done in the stipulated time.
Provide strategic guidance and innovative solutions to clients to address their complex business challenges in the transport and logistics space.
Lead and mentor a team of consultants, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and the growth of team members.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
Conduct detailed analysis and research to identify industry trends, market opportunities, and best practices in transport and logistics.
Collaborate with other practice areas within Mazars India to leverage expertise and deliver integrated solutions to clients.
Contribute to business development efforts, including preparing proposals, participating in client meetings, and identifying opportunities for growth.
Stay abreast of regulatory changes, technological advancements, and emerging trends in the transport and logistics sector to provide proactive advice and insights to clients.
Travel as needed to client sites and project locations, both domestic and international, to oversee & execute project implementation, conduct client meetings, and engage in business development activities.
Can do attitude and ability to work in ambiguous environments

**Qualifications**:
Masters’ degree in business, analytics or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience for Manager level and 8 years for SM level in a reputed consulting firm or strategy function of a company in the transport logistics, supply chain space.
Proven track record of successfully leading consulting engagements and delivering tangible results for clients in the transport and logistics sector.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data, develop insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve common goals.
Prior experience in supporting business development, including identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and closing deals, is desirable.
Knowledge of industry-specific tools and software related to transport and logistics consulting is an advantage.
