**Alcott Global** is partnering with a leading semiconductor manufacturing company to search for their **Head of Manufacturing, ASIA **to be based in** Penang, Malaysia.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive manufacturing excellence and operational efficiency in our ASIA manufacturing operations, focusing on process optimization, waste reduction, and productivity improvement.
- Lead and manage a diverse team of manufacturing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Establish and maintain performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor manufacturing performance and drive accountability at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, quality assurance, and R&D, to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.
- Drive the adoption of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other best practices to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Lead and support the implementation of new technologies, automation solutions, and digital manufacturing initiatives to enhance manufacturing capabilities and competitiveness.
- Champion a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with a proven track record of success in driving manufacturing excellence and operational improvement initiatives.
- Strong technical expertise in semiconductor fabrication processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence methodologies, with certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams to achieve results.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategies to drive operational excellence, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
- Experience with implementing new technologies, automation solutions, and digital manufacturing initiatives preferred.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to semiconductor manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive results under tight deadlines.
