Roles & Responsibilities
- **
Position : Lab Assistant (No Exp Req/All Welcome/Training Provided)**:

- **Location : Loyang**:

- **Working hours : Mon-Fri (9am - 6.15pm) and ½ Saturday a month (9am - 12.30pm)**:

- **Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $2,500 + Variable Bonus (daily meal provided)**:

- **Duration : Permanent**:

- **Industry : Wholesale distribution of chemicals
**Main Responsibilities**:

- Compounding of food and beverage ingredients.
- Assist Product Manager in project formulations.
- Prepare samples for customer testing.
- Weighing, mixing of ingredients for sample preparation.
- Prepare and maintain records of basic technical documents (Specs, MSDS, etc.).
- Arrange courier of outgoing / incoming samples and maintain sample-out records.
- Maintain updated records of samples related activities e.g. formulations, sensory evaluations etc.
- Maintain records of market samples.
- Support day-to-day lab testing operations and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Perform other tasks, roles or projects by superiors assigned from time to time.
- Maintain lab housekeeping cleanliness standards, observe safety requirement and Good Laboratory Practices.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma in Food Science/ Chemistry or related fields.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
- Experience in lab environment/ quality control systems would have an advantage.
