We integrate digital technology, big data, and Artificial Intelligence into the traditional shipping industry to streamline services, which in turn lead to cost savings for shipowners. With the transaction data gathered from Marine Online's platform, we are able to develop an efficient supply chain and credit rating system. This platform aids global shipowners in resolving cash flow issues and positively drives digital adaptation in the maritime industry.
We are looking for a **General Manager **who are specialised in **Chartering **to grow and expand the business
- Responsible for the Department of Chartering on the platform.
- Understand the overall business model and business strategy of e-commerce Shipping platform, positioning, objectives and tasks on chartering, and support the realization of the overall development strategy of the platform.
- Understand the actual needs of the chartering business, plan and design the chartering e-commerce direction, and submit accurate business needs and platform product improvement opinions and suggestions.
- Develop the Marine Online chartering team, clarify on job scopes and responsibilities, and conduct regular training for employees.
- Formulate business standard operation process SOP with continuous optimization and improvements.
- Organize the team to develop a cargo-finding service using the platform for global ship owners.
- Organize the team to develop a ship-finding service using the platform for global charterers.
- Promote and improve the online matching service for cargo to achieve efficient cargo matching for Marine Online users.
- Supervise the set up and running of the post fixture operation services and maintain service quality for Marine Online users.
- Track and monitor the daily transaction data of the chartering platform, and review user experience, opinions and suggestions for system improvements.
- Assist in formulating marketing strategies to improve the accuracy and actual effect of product announcements.
- Strengthen team training and develop on team culture to create an active, open, and competitive working environment.
- Look out on opportunities for follow-up business and improve business conversion efficiency.
- Other tasks/duty assigned by management.
**Job Requirements**
- Degree in Maritime/Shipping Management, or other relevant disciplines and above.
- 10 years and above experience in the Marine or relevant industry.
- 5 years and above in a management position.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in communications and customer relations are a necessity.
