ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assess, plan, establish, organize, direct, control, and coordinate Maxeon’s reliability activities, test capabilities and capacities Develop new reliability testing routines in Maxeon’s lab and oversee deployment to cell and module production sites FMEA support for new products, technologies, and design changes Work closely with the Reliability and RD&D team and cell fab / module teams across different sites to develop and help deploy advanced high efficiency state of the art module products using next generation manufacturing technologies Deliver significant innovation that enhances Maxeon’s performance advantage, while reducing manufacturing cost and capital cost Help develop company technology and product goals, plan technology projects and deliver these goals using the Maxeon business processes Provide technical expertise (risk assessments and failure analysis) for organizations across all Maxeon sites Ensure that project milestones and deliverables are met, delivered on time, and adhere to approved budgets Provide excellent communication within Maxeon to facilitate tracking and coordinating technology and product development goals and milestones

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

**Minimum Qualifications**:
**Educational Background**:
Masters in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering (as a minimum)

**Preferred**: PhD degree

**Experience**:
Minimum 12-year experience with Master’s Degree, minimum 8-year experience with PhD.
Experience in designing and developing test routines especially for module level PV technology R&D breadth encompassing both cell and module technology at an
advanced level Proven track record of highly significant advanced Solar PV innovation Very strong reliability and R&D background in module technology Experience with failure analysis and resolution techniques such as FMEA, 5-Whys, 8D, and Ishikawa diagrams Substantial knowledge of PV cell and module reliability, including modeling and testing, certification/standard requirements
Proven record of working very effectively with multiple organizations both within a company and outside the company Excellent written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on flexible thinking and creativity Willing to travel in Asia, Mexico and other sites up to 25% of the time

Preferred requirements Expert knowledge of PV module materials and composites Knowledge of laboratory and equipment safety standards Expert knowledge of PV module product landscape and high value add market opportunities Familiarity with solar panel manufacturing and solar cell factory production Ability to handle complex and multiple projects simultaneously within the project timeline, including knowledge of best project management principles and tools Good understanding of people and business management principles Knowledge of laboratory and equipment safety standards
