**What the role is**
- You will formulate, review and implement Finance or Procurement policies, frameworks, and processes to help SID meet its F&P mission objectives and ensure strong financial governance.
**What you will be working on**
- Work closely with line units across SID to develop effective Finance or Procurement policies, frameworks, and processes to enable their operations - Regularly review SID's Finance or Procurement policies and processes to ensure currency and relevance - Advise and support SID leadership's F&P policy decision-making - Work with stakeholders to develop and manage F&P contracts If you are in a senior role, in addition to the above, you will need to: - Provide technical and strategic leadership for a team - Design and implement workplace processes, with future trends and needs in mind - Plan and guide your team's professional growth, in both general and technical areas - Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders - Mentor and develop junior team members to maximise their potential What you will gain: - Application of F&P knowledge in an intelligence context - Experience in driving strategic planning work that will enable a complex organisation to achieve its desired outcomes
**What we are looking for**
- At least three years of professional F&P experience required, preferably in the Singapore Public Service - Degree or professional qualification in finance, accountancy or business administration preferred - Certified under the MOF Procurement Competency Framework preferred - Good understanding of F&P processes/systems and internal controls - Experience in dealing with documentation, review and negotiation of contracts - Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to see the big picture, and also a keen eye for detail - Motivated team player, as well as an independent self-starter
