Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Oversee and monitor architectural construction works from conception to completion
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Day to day management/coordination of all architectural activities, including facilitating coordination with stakeholders within and outside the client organisation.
- Regular liaison with the client's representatives on architectural matters
- Report and monitor architectural construction progress on daily basis and any changes/variations
- Co-ordination with the rest of the SJ PMC team for project reporting and monitoring against the schedule.
- Review the architectural design submission from the contractor with respect to constructability and fit for purpose. Coordinate with the SJ team and provide consolidated comments on Contractor’s submissions.
- Identify risks and opportunities associated with architectural construction.
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Skills and Expertise;
- Experienced in airport works including terminal buildings or complex commercial buildings.
- An understanding of ICAO & IATA regulations preferred.
- An understanding of international and local design and construction standards and regulations
- Experienced with AutoCAD and/or Revitt software.
- Ability to provide minor drawings/sketches with the aid of AutoCAD and /or Revit.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Excellence in administration and project reporting
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Team, Consultants, the Contractor, Maintenance, Terminal employees, etc.
- Ability to work in diverse cross-cultural environments
