The outcome - a new generation of vehicle EE architecture is being defined and developed by our OEMs where High Performance Computers (HPCs) is central to the new architecture. HPCs are products that intersect the traditional automotive domain (safety, reliability, and comfort) with the information technology domain (cybersecurity, virtualization, IOT and DevOps).

**Position Description**: Senior Engineer, System & Requirement Engineering (CE Systems)

**Responsibilities**:

- Generate system and requirement specifications for Vehicle Networking and Information Product Portfolio.
- Analyze customer requirements specifications and link them to Continental specifications.
- Clarify and negotiate all open items related to specification with customer.
- Coordinate integration of systems consisting of multiple control units in to vehicle.
- Support product development teams by defining product electrical interfaces, product functional specifications, communication interfaces and diagnostic interfaces.
- Support in system architect in defining the system architecture.
- Setup and maintain requirement engineering framework (requirement management).
- Support SW Engineers for refinement of specifications.
- Support validation team and customer, on-site, during system and system validation phase.
- Support sales team in acquisitions for activities in terms of technical quotations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar studies.
- At least 3 years working experience in automotive industry or embedded system development.
- At least 2 relevant projects completed as Requirement, SW or Test Engineer.
- Good understanding of E/E system with good electrical and electronic background.
- Experience in working with distributed systems and project management is an advantage.
- Experience with vehicle automotive and wireless functions will be an advantage.
- Basic know-how on requirement management tools like DOORs is preferred.
- Ability to work in international teams and with international customers.
- You are pro-active, self-motivated and a good team player.
- Good Verbal and Written Communication skills
