Reporting to Senior Financial Manager, you will lead and drive GL related transactional efficiency and reporting requirements. You will be responsible for the full scope of activity in the General Ledger, Fixed Assets and financial reporting scope. Supporting the Senior Financial Manager, you will lead one accountant to run Records-to-Report best practice processes and in accordance to corporate policy and meet statutory financial reporting and tax requirements. You will ensure the efficient and effective running of a shared services operations through driving process improvements and change. Meeting stakeholders requirements and performance KPIs will be key in this role.

**What You’re Responsible For**
- Consolidate Financial Results and Positions and prepare the consolidated financial statements for the Helix Singapore Group
- monthly Oversee preparation of the performance KPI measurement monthly
- Prepare and review of balance sheet reconciliations monthly
- Ensure accurate update of the fixed asset registers and IFRS 16 adjustment at each financial year end
- Prepare/review journal entries and maintain and upkeep a month end close checklist for business(es) to ensure completeness of book-keeping each month on a timely and orderly manner
- Overview of month end close process progress of business(es) within stipulated timeline from time to time
- Ensure submission of trial balance to the business(es) within Service Level Agreement (SLA) deadlines, explaining the reason for any significant variances to budget/forecast
- Keep abreast of accounting treatment and compliance with IFRS
- Support and manage year end audit(s) with the business(es)
- Overview, preparation and submission of Year-end audit schedules (where applicable)
- Take responsibility for local compliance work - BAS/GST returns, Sales/ Franchise tax returns, Property tax and statistics returns required by the local authorities
- Support the Senior Financial Manager in any corporation tax related issues in accordance to local filing and regulatory requirements
- Oversee and review the work of Finance team People management
- Manage, coach and develop direct report
- Support business by ensuring that any business operation finance related issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Responsible for ensuring robust financial controls are in place and are adhered to from finance business operations perspective
- Ensure regular cyclical physical stock checks are carried out and follow up on discrepancies to understand why they occurred in order to take corrective action
- Maintain relations with external auditors and address their findings and incorporate their recommendations whenever possible
- Liaise with internal and external parties (shareholders, bankers, auditors, tax agents etc)
- Any other matters as assigned by your immediate supervisor

**What We’re Looking For**
- Possess at least 6 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Professional qualification (CA/CPA) preferred
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- High learning agility and adaptability
- Ability to prioritize task, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Strong supervisory and mentorship skills
- Regional exposure is an added advantage
- Oracle NetSuite experience is an added advantage

**Qualifications/Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or Business Administration/ Studies with major in Accounting or ACCA
- Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant required

**Special Requirements**
- Able to work outside of normal hours when required
