Creative Director (Southeast Asia Oceania Korea)

Sephora’s SEAPAC Creative Director is a crucial member of our Marketing leadership team, responsible for transforming our strategy into inspirational, engaging advertising and content.

Leading a hybrid team of our amazing in-house creative leads and a network of specialist agencies, you will oversee all of our branded content on app, store and site and our media campaigns, ensuring we are always elevated and on brand.
As a member of our Marketing leadership team, you will work alongside the other marketing departments (Integrated Marketing, Customer Experience, Loyalty, Consumer Analytics and CRM) to help guide our overall marketing strategy, and a champion for the power and impact of creativity and insights on business results.
In addition, you will work closely with our in-market teams, as well as cross-functional teams such as regional Merchandising, e-Commerce and Retail Ops.
A successful Creative Director must be able to straddle many different worlds and contexts, with no day being the same:
**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all of Sephora’s content and advertising across all of our platforms and touchpoints is elevated and on brand.
- Lead an efficient creative process to support all of the content and creative materials needed by the marketing and cross functional teams, leveraging technology, automation, outsourcing and in sourcing intelligently to deliver both small and large projects.
- Collaborate deeply with the marketing team in building the overall marketing strategy, analyzing results, and identifying opportunities, championing the power of creativity and insights to drive business.
- Understand and leverage data, research and competitors to ensure our creative material is impactful. Curate our brand assortment in campaigns and activations to build our brand and our partners in a way that pushes the industry forward and inspires our customer.
- Champion diversity in our communication and creative strategy, growing a network of in house and local agency partners to ensure we are representative and inclusive.
- Coach and build a team of a cross-functional creative leads with varied and diverse backgrounds (graphic designers, copywriters, social-media experts, photographers/videographers and project managers)
- Build disruptive and effective creative toolkits across a variety of different challenges and situations.
- Deliver an ever increasing number of short
- and long-term projects via strategic planning, priortisation, clear processes and the use of technology and talent.
- Effectively sell and engage the broader organization on their creative vision through strong and persuasive communication, stakeholder management and resilience.

**Prerequisites**:

- 10 years of relevant experience, with five or more years as a strategic planner equivalent or client side creative leader.
- Extensive experience in managing traffic across a number of complex marketing/advertising campaigns simultaneously — from vision to production, on time and within budget.
- Strong creative vision, with an ability to link powerful and inspirational creative to business impact. Experience in both direct and agency creative management, across all marketing channels: digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print.
- Proven ability to engage and “sell” their inspirational vision to a large number of diverse stakeholders (particularly those without creative/agency backgrounds), collaborating with them to ensure buy in and execution of their toolkits.
- A brilliant coach, able to build the capability and effectiveness of a diverse, talented group of creatives both inside and outside of the company. Able to continue to build their capability and agility while protecting their capacity via the thoughtful use of smart processes, technology/automation and outsourcing.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing or business
