**Position Overview**:
As a **Barista**at Cafe Lighthouse, you’ll be the heart of our coffee service, providing excellent coffee and customer service while maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Your main responsibility will be preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, while offering a personalized experience to every customer.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, and teas.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
- Keep track of inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Create a welcoming and friendly environment for customers and fellow team members.
- Assist with food preparation, such as preparing pastries or light bites, when required.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately.
- Stay knowledgeable about menu items, seasonal specials, and coffee beans, and share your expertise with customers.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, including food handling and sanitation procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Previous barista experience is preferred, but not required.
- A passion for coffee and a love for customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized.
- Flexibility with work hours, including weekends and early mornings.
- A positive attitude and team player mentality.
