Provide daily opportunities for extensive outdoor play and learning, during which teachers and children are co-learners.
- To support and encourage children’s play and investigations with natural materials.
- Classroom activities cross boundaries between indoor and outdoor learning environments, and between different types of outdoor environments.
- Develop and maintain teaching materials designed or adapted for outdoor use.
- Provide opportunities for child-child interactions to promote collaboration and conflict resolution.
- Care for the heath, hygiene, and safety of the children.
- To be able to provide an environment that values diversity and sustains children’s cultural identities.
- To be able to modify the curriculum and environment to individualise learning opportunities and scaffold learning for all children.
- Writeup reports for parents on each child's developmental progress.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (DECCE) or (DECCE-T) or equivalent qualifications (L2)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in preschool settings
- Strong knowledge of educational techniques and methods for teaching young children
- Enthusiastic and encouraging.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with young children at their level.
- Patient, compassionate attitude, with a friendly, energetic disposition.
- Creative mindset with an ability to create memorable, out-of-the-box lessons.
- Passion for shaping and inspiring young minds.
- Strong passion and love for the outdoors and nature-based learning.
- Healthy and fit as classes are mostly held outdoors.

Location: Kanopy Forest Preschool

**Salary**: $2,800.00 - $3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:
