Assistant Manager, Compliance

**Job Responsibilities**:
- Conduct AML/KYC periodic reviews on high risk and high net worth customers as well as customers who are public figures.
- Review and investigate alerts escalated from the first level
- Formalize an analysis based on the transaction investigation
- Implement compliance review program by performing compliance review on business activities and operations to identify any compliance gaps and recommend necessary changes
- Participate in the review and approval process for new business initiatives, and develop compliance program for monitoring new business
- Provide ongoing advisory to business on compliance and regulatory requirements;
- Liaise with front office and support functions to evaluate and monitor implementation of control processes
- Advise, support and report to the Head of Compliance on the identification and changes in the regulatory and compliance environment
- Handle or coordinate regulatory or audit requests / inquiries / examinations
- To assist and facilitate the training for the staff of Business
**Job Requirements**:
- Degree from local university
- 6-7 years’ of relevant experience, preferably in the banking industry
- Able to demonstrate strong knowledge of MAS regulatory requirements, in particular regarding SFA and FAA
- Familiar with AML framework, control activities and processes
- Exhibit positive attitude and a good team player
- Effectively bilingual in English & Chinese, as the incumbent is required to communicate with colleagues in HQ
