Transmission Engineer

**$3.8K - $4K + AWS + VB + allowance**

**5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hours**
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible to implement projects in telco and datacentre environment
- Responsible for installation, commissioning and testing of transmission DWDM systems
- To perform software and firmware updates on systems and involved for maintenance support
- To handle and resolve fault tickets and arranging RMA
- Maintain transmission network and passive optical fibre network

**Requirements**:

- Nitec/ Diploma in IT engineering, telecommunications, Electronics Engineering discipline or equivalent
- Min 1 -2 years experience in fiber optics transmission systems ie OTN, DWDM
- No experience is welcome to apply
- Knowledge in networking (eg Ethernet, IP, Fiber Channel), test equipment (eg OSA, OTDR, optical power meters) and systems Integration (eg SNMP, SMTP, NTP)
