Pre-sales Application Engineer for Hplc and Lcms

As Pre-Sales Application Engineer (AE) for the Agilent Chromatography and/or Mass Spectrometry product lines, you will be a part of a professional team of Application Specialists in Agilent's Life Sciences and Applied Markets
Group.

**Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate the latest, state-of-the-art, HPLC and LCMS technologies (single quad, triple quad, TOF, QTOF, etc) at customer sites or in the Agilent Centres of Excellence in Singapore and SAP region.
- Understand the customer requirements and lead with sales and the Product Specialist on the strategy for sample analysis and/or demonstration. The key objective is to close the opportunity after one demonstration.
- Understand customers' challenges, recommend solutions, and ensure the highest customer satisfaction.
- Proactively acts to understand customer needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks/queries
- Conduct product, workflow, and solution presentations to customers.
- Train Agilent sales team about LC and LCMS technologies, the latest instrumentation, and associated solutions
- Work with the sales teams to exceed Liquid Phase Separations sales targets and to create business opportunities
- Leads projects requiring coordination with other functions, and organizations Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity

**Qualifications**:

- Degree, Master or equivalent in Life Sciences (Chemistry, Pharma, Biotech, etc.)
- 6 - 9 years of hands-on experience with HPLC, LCMS/MS, LCQTOF, and ion-trap technologies in an analytical lab environment
- Knowledge/Experience of/with Agilent instruments is a strong advantage
- On a personal level, you are proactive, customer-focused, and self-driven.
- You also have excellent communications & presentation skills to interact with many stakeholders.
- You are also willing to travel (50%) on a regular basis within the SAP region
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership would be preferable.
- Proficient in written and spoken the English language.
