Responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the project. Works with the sales and commercial team, region personnel and supply chain to translate the demand (forecasts, sales orders, planned orders) across multiple time horizons into physical orders and ensure they are delivered to meet the customer requirements.

As a Materials Specialist (Materials Planning and Execution), you will be responsible for:

- Coordinate with other departments regarding project goals, production and timeline
- Analyzes incoming demand: identifies order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory
- Plans and schedules order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs
- Setup BOM configuration in Oracle for demand execution based on the make/buy strategy.
- Timely release of purchase requisition and manufacturing work orders.
- Monitor the manufacturing routing readiness for manufacturing work orders launch.
- Liaise with Master Scheduler to stay abreast on the production capacity and slots availability.
- Scheduling and tracking the arrival of materials for shop production. Identify all critical parts shortages and take actions to expedite.
- Performs various material management analysis such as statistical material consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged purchase orders, in-transit material analysis, safety stock, etc.
- Manage inventory challenges, material pull in/push out, schedule changes and supplier delay.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Supply Chain or related field or equivalent with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in order management, material planning, inventory optimization and supply chain management
- Basic understanding of Oracle and MRP functionality
- Green Belt Certification
- APICS Certification
- Positive Attitude
- Strong analytical skills
- Good team player and pro-active individual with high say-do ratio
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Oracle, Tableau and MS Office. Strong in using MS Excel for data analysis.
- Ability to work with and influence stakeholders
- Tactical execution with a sense of urgency
