About the role What you need to know: - Independently underwrite risks and structure complex programs received from Key Broker Partners - Maintain and develop Key Distribution Partnerships - Manage AIG’s underwriting processes and procedures in compliance to the Marine Underwriting Guidelines and Risk Appetite - Provide guidance and training to junior team members on technical underwriting knowledge - Assist PCM with regular budgeting process and constant portfolio management What we’re looking for: - Relevant independent underwriting experience on Marine Cargo risks in Asia - Knowledge on Marine Liability products and Marine Project Cargo & DSU would be advantageous - Strong negotiation and communication skills - Ability to work across multiple functions and departments - Good relationship management skills, and service-oriented focus - Able to understand and execute on the vision and objectives of the department and company - Able to drive change within the department to achieve business efficacy LI-LY1 A look at our Benefits We're proud to offer a range of employee benefits and resources that help you protect what matters most - your health care, savings, financial protection and wellbeing.
