**The opportunity**

In the Solar Project Engineer role, you’ll run and manage solar engineering and design projects for commercial and residential rooftop solar systems within Singapore. As an early team member, you’ll have the opportunity to build and grow a team as well as see projects through from end to end. In this role, you’ll be working closely with our founding team as a part of a mission-driven company focused on driving solar deployment across Southeast Asia.

**What you’ll be responsible for**
- Conduct on-site visits and feasibility studies to optimise efficiency and costs on rooftop solar PV systems
- Design rooftop solar PV systems and stringing using tools like AutoCAD or simulation software like PVsyst and Helioscope
- Ensure compliance with regulations, applicable codes, policies, performance standards, and specifications
- Review and provide support on technical design, electrical drawing, engineering drawing submissions and BOQ / BOM
- Work closely with the Business Development team to craft proposals and manage project costing
- Assist on project management, scheduling and coordinating with sub-contractors on engineering projects
- Develop and streamline operating procedures for the company

**Who we’re looking for**
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in rooftop solar project management
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or related fields
- Good knowledge in electrical design concepts and solar project engineering
- Experience with solar PV simulation software like PVsyst and Helioscope
- Organised and able to work independently with strong project management skills
- Highly motivated and results driven; able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
