**About Us**

LiquidX Studio is a gaming development studio with the goal to produce an open-world AAA game called Pixelmon.

We are based in Singapore and Malaysia with many of our team collaborating remotely from countries like New Zealand, Spain, Indonesia, and Brazil. With large backing from our recently raised funding round, we aim to create an entirely unique experience with immersive gameplay and extensive lore that will wow all gamers.

**The Challenge**

As Lead Gameplay Animator, you will be taking charge in bringing life with lively animations to our static 3D of monsters and trainers You will be creating each monster to have a unique personality, behaviour, style of movement and attacks.

**What You Can Expect To Work On**
- Tracking and approving completed animation content from outsourcer studios, In-house animators, and/or freelancers to ensure cohesion of animation content at appropriate quality standards
- Works with Art Director to help establish and implement best practice
- Leads and manages animation asset delivery pipelines
- Collaborating with other team members such as writers or producers to develop new projects
- Creating and managing digital assets such as characters, props, and backgrounds
- Designing characters and modelling their movements to create smooth, realistic animations
- Interpreting storyboards and creating character drawings, background designs, and other sketches as needed to develop the visual style of an animation
- Reviewing and revising existing animation to improve its quality and appeal to audiences
- Working with programmers to develop computer programs for animating 3D graphics or game engines for video games
- Reviewing animation tests to determine whether they meet the studio’s standards for quality

**Requirements**:
**What You Need to Succeed**
- **Experience**: 7 years experience in animation in the gaming industry
- **Tools**: Animation in blender, Maya or equivalent
- **Go-getter**: Always be ready to solve problems and determine to be successful
- **Risk-tasker**: Not afraid to take risk to experiment with new ways of doing things
