**Key Responsibilities** Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams - software engineers, product managers and business users to define API specifications
- Design, maintain, optimize, deploy scalable, efficient, and secure APIs with Azure Event Hub / Grid, Service Bus
- Manage API versioning, deprecation, and documentation
- Set up monitoring solutions to track API traffic and performance
- Ensure the API Gateway high availability and fault tolerance
- Implement security measures against common API security threats, such as DDoS attacks and injection vulnerabilities
- Comply compliance with Legal and Privacy Regulations in different country, such as GDPR, PDPA
- Minimum 4 years of proven working experience in planning, designing, developing, architecting, and implementing cloud solutions
- Familiar with web, API and microservices development using JavaScript, Typescript, C#, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmo, Azure API Management
- Hands-on experience and expertise in API specification (OpenAPI), documentation, developer portal & sandbox
- Strong knowledge and experience on both relational and non-relational database designs
- Excellent understanding of relevant technologies including HTTP, RESTful APIs, JSON, JWT, CORS (Cross Origin Resource Sharing), Web Sockets, routing
- Proficiency with code versioning tools (specifically Git and GitHub)
