**About InfoCepts**

Presently we are expanding our Singapore business unit and thus seeking out aspiring / proven Data Engineers in cloud environments to join our cause in helping clients Stay Modern, ahead of the technology curve

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
As our Cloud Data Engineer, you will be entrusted to contribute and value-add to customers through your technical expertise in cloud technologies.
- Drive the planning, development, testing and production implementation at the highest level of standards to ensure strong quality of services rendered to customers
- Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data architecture and pipelines to meet use cases and objectives
- Collaborate closely with project team members to develop architecture for new use cases
- Design and develop mappings, mapplets, sessions workflows and schedule them
- Own the database design process, logical design, physical design, star schema, Snowflake schema etc
- Design connections objects and be well versed with session and workflow properties
- Perform active, leading roles in shaping and enhancing overall ETL architecture
- Identify, recommend and implement ETL processes and architecture improvements
- Assist and verify design of solution and production of all design phase deliverables; identify bugs when developers are not able to do so
- Manage build phase and quality assure code to ensure fulfilling of requirements and adhering to architecture; resolve difficult design and development issues
- Conduct code reviews
- Create relevant technical documentation and maintain them as necessary
- Stay abreast of cloud services, developments and best practices with the aim of bringing additional value to customers through such knowledge and insights

**Skills Required**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology and/or related fields
- Proven experience through past data engineering work on one or more cloud environments such as AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud is essential
- Strong knowledge in multiple cloud services with the respective providers you possess expertise in
- Proficient in ETL, Data Modelling, Data Warehousing and Data Architecture, as well as familiar with Cloud Architecture concepts
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, SQL or R
- Experience in code management and deployment
- Problem-solving and team-working skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $5,500.00 - $6,500.00 per month
