**Purpose of the role**

To review draft research content to ensure that it meets the Barclays Research departments editorial standards, as well as all applicable regulatory requirements, prior to its distribution to Clients

**Accountabilities**
- Review of submitted Research in line with Barclays standards; work with the authoring Analyst collaboratively to edit and amend reports to a satisfactory outcome.
- Identification of Conflicts of interest and potential reputational or regulatory issues within Research reports; ensure these are highlighted and managed in partnership with the Compliance Control room and other relevant functions.
- Provision of training and guidance to Research Analysts on relevant systems, best practices and procedures for producing Research, resolving issues with the help of control partners and Research management.
