Murex Functional Engineer (Front Office)

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
The Murex Team in ING is looking for a Murex Functional Engineer, the team is based in Singapore and works in Agile Methodology.
Murex Functional Engineer will be responsible for providing support to Front Office Trading Desks on different Financial Markets products and will be working on Financial Markets & Bank Treasury projects.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**
**1. Required Murex Functional Knowledge**:

- Strong knowledge of FO configuration - instruments, generators, curves, market data, market conventions
- Strong knowledge of FO modules - Simulation Screens, Simulation Viewer, eTradepad, P&L Notepad, Market Operations
- Strong knowledge of how to analyse P&L, Sensitivity (Greeks), Risk issues within Murex
- Strong knowledge of Pre-Trade Rule (MSL) and Pricing Template setup
- Strong knowledge of Market Data modules, RTBS, MDCS, MDRS
- Strong knowledge of Global Operating Model
- Knowledge of organization setup and User Groups / Access Rights
- Knowledge of Murex Datamart
**2. Financial Markets Domain knowledge**:

- Strong understanding of Trade Life Cycle for different FM products, e.g. fixing, exercise, expiry
- Strong understanding of FM including NDF & FX Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, Money Market
- Strong understanding of pricing and evaluation of different products
- Any FM certifications will be a value add
**3. Experience / Competences**:

- At least 3 years of Murex Front Office Support Experience
- Experience of Supporting Trading Desks and Trade Booking
- Experience on Real Time Market Data Troubleshooting
- Experience of working on Major Production Incidents
- Experience of working on Major Project Implementations
- Ability to bridge the communication gap between business and IT
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Experience with the (agile) scrum development methodology
**4. Personality**:

- Ability to identify smart and quick solutions
- Ability to challenge business requirements and give professional feedback
- Deliver on commitment
- Team player with Pro-active and Positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Eager to learn
