**Role Overview**:
We are looking for a technical drafter ‘Techie’ to be the bedrock of BuildBuilt by producing drawings, details and concepts for interiors. Join our existing group: the Tech Team

Techies will receive requests from lead interior designers and project managers to punch out precise, clear and detailed drawings to help stakeholders visualise the space. Be it renders or construction drawings, techies should be proud of their work and know that their effort translates to creating beautiful spaces for people.

Other adhoc tasks include joining the Tech Team to think about interior concepts, curating presentation decks and materials to impact client experience. If suitable, the road map of a techie includes a progression to an associate designer or lead designer within the residential design team or the commercial design team within BuildBuilt. As a techie, you will work with a team of fun loving techies and interact with all sorts of talent within BuildBuilt. **Scope**:

- Resource plan and prioritise techie tasks
- Tracing layout plans (residential and commercial) on CAD.
- Massing and building base SketchUp models.
- Stylising SketchUp models according to Designer’s briefs.
- Rendering images of proposed spaces using Enscape and Photoshop.
- Creating carpentry or joinery detail within 2 mediums:

- SKP
- CAD
- Designing and planning for spaces with lead designer(s).

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of commercial interior design, and residential interior design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Enscape
- Substantial ability in Photoshop
- Knowledge in basic spatial planning

**Through your probation, you will learn**
- How to work with different software properly in order to increase one’s workflow
- The ins and outs of the Interior Design industry
- How to craft professional/ industry standard technical drawing packages
- How to curate impactful presentations to convey designs
- How to present & sell your design ideas to potential clients
- How to work and communicate with the different stakeholders of a project
