We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer Lead to design, deploy, and manage cloud solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for leading cloud infrastructure initiatives, ensuring security, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency. This role also involves mentoring junior engineers and aligning cloud strategies with business objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure solutions for clients, ensuring alignment with well-architected framework principles.
- Lead cloud deployment and automation efforts using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Implement and enforce security best practices across cloud environments.
- Monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure performance and costs.
- Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions and mínimal downtime.
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cloud solutions meet business and client needs.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective use of cloud services.
- Create and maintain documentation of cloud configurations, architectures, and best practices.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, guiding them on cloud technologies and best practices.

**Requirements**:
**Experiences**:

- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on leading managed cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with various cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
- Experience in leading and overseeing cloud projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
- Experience mentoring or leading a team of engineers.

**Technical Skills**:

- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficient in IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible for automation and configuration management.
- Practical experience of virtualisation, cloud networking, security protocols, and best practices.
- Experience with automation, scripting, and monitoring tools for cloud environments.
- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, including continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and version control practices.

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferably with relevant certifications (Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified)
- ITIL or Project Management certifications are a plus.
