The role of the Sonographer is to provide imaging services to patients, handle oversight of the imaging machines and ensure that maintenance works are carried out. The Sonographer shall assist in the provision of a high quality and effective diagnostic imaging and personalised service, while assuring the optimum quality of care for patients.

**Job Scope**:

- Select and execute proper and appropriate techniques for patients according to their clinical needs within the established professional and departmental guidelines
- Provide care for the patients undergoing examinations according to the nature of their illnesses and clinical diagnosis
- Familiarisation of the use and correct handling of imaging equipment to avoid incorrect equipment usage
- Responsible for the proper functioning and maintenance of the equipment and accessories within the designated work area. Be responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of examination/ procedure room
- Prepare equipment and supplies required for any sonography procedures
- Ensure radiological examinations performed are of diagnostic value with correct patient identification
- Coach and mentor other radiographers and locum staff (if any) to ensure their competence
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, and support staff
- Manage customers’ expectations and uphold good service standards
- Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of patients’ data and reports
- Collate data to be presented in monthly reports
- Adhere closely to all the safety precautions and infection control guidelines

**Job Requirement**:

- Bachelor’s degree in the related field (Radiography / Medical Imaging / Sonography) or equivalent from a recognised institution
- AHPC certification would be advantageous
- Able to work in a team or independently with minimum supervision
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Present a professional image and deliver top-quality customer service

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $4,200.00 - $5,500.00 per month
