Our main growth drivers are: - Energy Efficiency Performance Contracts (EEPC) where we sell utilities to our Clients (Chilled Water, Compressed Air, Steam, Hot Water) - District Cooling Systems (DCS) with 5 existing plants in Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore with several other projects under study regionally - Off-grid solutions to manage the demand-side of the Energy: Micro-grid, on-site Energy production (Biogas, Biomass, Electrical batteries, EV charging, Fuel-cells, Hydrogen ) - Renewable Energy with >150MW of Rooftop and Large-Scale Solar and has developed a 1 GW pipe and ambition to take leadership position in Malaysia and the Philippines - Integrated Facilities Management (FM). - Acquisition of companies in South East Asia in various fields (DCS, FM, M&E Construction, Data Center, Refrigeration, and the like) **REPORTING LINE**: - Head of Regional Business Development **ROLE DESCRIPTION**: You oversee the regional development strategy and route to market in our focus countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Australia). The strategy is translated in KPI and targets which you track regionally. This will allow you to build a portfolio of opportunities and solutions with customers in the mixed-use retail and real estate sector. Together with the local Business development teams and technical teams, you manage the creation of proposals aligned with ENGIE’s value propositions (delivering integrated energy and broader sustainability solutions to our clients), while ensuring compliance with client requirements. As business development manager, you are a hands-on project manager, sparring partner and coach to successfully guide our offers. You like to take the lead, dare to give your opinion, advice, and take a flexible approach. Strategically you source for upstream deals and create opportunities by bringing together partners and key accounts in the real estate segment. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Own a network of real estate developers and related partners who you can contact to offer multi-utility, sustainable solutions (both green and brownfield) with low impact on the environment. - Scan the market pro-actively and bring together developer to create district opportunities. - Prepare customized energy solutions (with a focus on Cooling, Solar, Digital and Green Mobility) for building owners to optimise their energy offtake and negotiate proposals from start to end. - Track environmental policies, ESG standards and build commercial service offerings that can answer the existing and emerging trends. - Serve as single contact for preparation of commercial offers in collaboration with all services required (technical, financial and contractual). - Draw on ENGIE’s expertise, skills and resources to develop winning strategies for preparing offers. - Master technical, financial and commercial project presentation to the client with the support of the relevant teams. - Be a trusted advisor to clients on our key accounts - Identify and maintain strong relationships and an appropriate governance structure with key client stakeholders. - Demonstrating innovative thinking and proactive management in bringing new ideas and solutions to the client, and ensuring they are rolled out effectively. - Providing strategic direction and guidance on ways to enhance and expand services offering to the client. **JOB REQUIREMENTS**: - Bachelor degree in Real Estate or equivalent - At least 5-8 years’ experience, with understanding of energy solutions and sustainability - You have a good understanding of the real estate sector - You maintain an active network with REITS and Real Estate Developers - Have a keen interest and enthusiasm for sustainability - You have a strong background of project finance, capital structuring and financial modelling - You a good communicator able to work with multiple stakeholders - Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
