**Responsibilities**:

- Act as a SharePoint platform administrator managing the overall architecture, infrastructure, user access, security, and database management.
- Involvement in developing and modifying the pages in SharePoint such as adding HTML content and adding classes to CSS files.
- Design & develop EDI process for the exchange of data with the external vendor via web services, flat files, and XML files.
- Implement a JQUERY script to implement auto-complete functionality.
- Used XML builder to update user mappings for each migration job.
- Code custom apps with JQUERY for showing list data in user-defined formats.
- Create a content editor web part to add HTML content and images to the web part page.
- Work on membership provider to enable forms authentication and integrate ASP.NET pages by creating virtual directories on IIS.
- Develop the responsive UI design using foundation and work with media queries to make UI compatible with mobile devices.
- Plan a disaster recovery scheme using an IIS script on a weekly basis as well as an incremental tape backup procedure.
- Work with HTML5 and CSS3 for new enhancements sections of different portals by slowly upgrading the code projects for better visualization.
- Implement LINQ to perform optimized database operations.
- Create workflows for automatic business approval processes within the organization using NINTEX.
- Utilize LINQ technology extensively for data retrieving, querying, storage, and manipulation.
- Used PowerShell automation scripts wherever necessary right from developing ease to deployment and maintenance.
- Implement appropriate metadata and JavaScript tagging to ensure all data is being collected accurately on all dynamic load pages.
- Enable and configure basic visualization, navigation, and views of libraries and lists.
- Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective infrastructure components, procedures, and systems that meet business requirements.
- Design the SharePoint architecture and custom solution architectures and provide architectural guidance to development teams.
- Establish SharePoint data governance, data model/classification/security, and integration with external systems/data sources.
- Develop and communicate governance and best practice approaches for SharePoint solutions at the enterprise level.
- Plan and define the taxonomy and governance policies supporting SharePoint implementation.
- Develop architecture standards and SharePoint SDLC practice.
- Design and develop the taxonomy for the site collection containing many departments and sub-departments.

**SharePoint Developer Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
- MOSS or WSS certification.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as a SharePoint developer.
- Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and.NET Frameworks.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.
- Experience with Agile methodology is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
